‘End Salmon Farming’ Tour Kicks Off Despite Legal Threats by Norwegian $almafia!

#3

The ‘End Salmon Farming’ tour kicks off on Halloween (31 October) despite the threat of legal action by Scottish Sea Farms (exclusive supplier to Marks & Spencer).  A digivan – which features horrific video footage shot inside Scottish salmon farms – will visit supermarkets and salmon farming facilities along the 1,000 mile route which migrates from London via Bristol, Liverpool, Grimsby, Berwick-Upon-Tweed, Perth, Inverness, Fort William, Oban and Glasgow to Edinburgh on 6 November.

“Salmon farming in Scotland is a welfare nightmare and environmental pariah,” said Don Staniford, Director of $camon $cotland.  “Shocking video footage captured via covert surveillance blows out of the water claims that Scottish salmon is ‘sustainable’ and ‘responsible’.  Shame on RSPCA Assured, the Soil Association and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council for greenwashing this toxic and deadly industry.  Everyone can join the Scottish salmon boycott by pledging not to eat farmed salmon – including ‘organic’, RSPCA Assured and ASC-certified.  Legal threats by Norway’s $almafia cannot be allowed to stop the public discovering the ugly truth about Scottish salmon – unlike salmon pharmers, the camera never lies.”

Earlier this month (12 October), Norwegian-owned Scottish Sea Farms (Norskott Havbruk) threatened legal action against Don Staniford citing the digivan tour visit to South Shian processing plant near Oban on 5 November:
