Please join the ‘End Salmon Farming’ tour of the UK!
A ‘digivan’ (like a mobile huge TV) screening gruesome images of factory pharmed salmon will migrate from London on Halloween (31 October 2023) via Bristol, Cardiff, Hereford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, York, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Perth, Inverness, Fort William, Invereray and Glasgow to Edinburgh on November 6th for a protest march down the Royal Mile to the Scottish Parliament.
Along the route there will be visits to supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Aldi, Waitrose, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer and ASDA where ‘responsibly sourced’ RSPCA Assured Scottish salmon is sold. Protests will take place outside the RSPCA’s head office in Horsham (31 October); the Soil Association’s head office in Bristol (1 November); the proposed site of the UK’s largest salmon farm in Grimsby/Cleethorpes (2 November); Mowi’s head office in Rosyth (3 November); Mowi’s feed factory at Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye (4 November) and a processing plant operated by Scottish Sea Farms near Oban (5 November).
If you can help as a protestor, photographer, videographer, local media outreach or with social media on the tour please email Don via salmonfarmingkills@gmail.com or phone 07771 541826. More details online here
