our wild salmon — and everything that relies on them — isn't worth it. So, as
long as the government and fish farm companies are actively endangering our
fish they will not be getting any support from me."
“Said Alexandra Morton, an independent salmon researcher:
"Cohen states that if salmon farms have more than minimal risk of serious
harm, they should cease operations. We are well past minimum risk."

“These floating factory fish farms
are a blight on our environment and cause pollution of the seabed, infestations
of sea lice on the migratory routes of sea trout and wild salmon
plus the deliberate killing of seals.”

Edwards, a campaigner for Wild Salmon First who is visiting Norwegian-owned
salmon farms in Scotland & Ireland, said (31 October):
"May the global voices for wild salmon unite to deliver the message to
Norway that Norwegian salmon farms are not welcome and must go!"
