New mortality data published by the Scottish Government's Fish Health Inspectorate on 6 October 2022 exposes the sham of certification via the Aquaculture Stewarship Council.

Search the website of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and you will find a current list of salmon farms in Scotland which are certified as "farmed responsibly" and those sites currently being audited (as well as two Scottish Sea Farms sites who have had their "Certification Not Awarded" and one Mowi site which had its ASC-certification "Cancelled"):

Scottish Salmon Watch reported in January 2022 that Mowi's Sconser Quarry and Maol Ban salmon farms were cancelled in November 2020 due to excessive use of antibiotics.

In 2018, a whistleblower working at Mowi's ASC-certified salmon farm at Carradale in Kilbrannan Sound leaked photos of welfare abuse following 300,000 dead farmed salmon:
