Animal Equality has vowed to keep fighting the "totally reckless", "catastrophic" and "apocalyptic" salmon farm approved yesterday (29 November 2023) next to Grimsby Town Football Club on the banks of the Humber Estuary near Cleethorpes Beach and slap-bang next to residential housing.

Harry Haddock – the club mascot of the Mariners (Grimsby Town Football Club) – was unavailble for comment but councillors at North East Lincolnshire Council (who approved the development by 7 votes to 4) may be on the hook for a jolly good fish-slapping:
