Earlier this month I visited Norway to speak at a science symposium at the University of Bergen on the use of toxic pesticides – you can watch my presentation online via: 'Silent Spring of the Sea' talk by Don Staniford

 

 

 

 

I also visited Norwegian behemoth Mowi – by far the largest salmon farming company in the world – at their head office in Bergen to warn consumers against consuming toxic pharmed salmon:

The use of toxic chemicals – including the banned neonicotinoid Imidacloprid – in Norwegian salmon pharming is absolutley shocking and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.
