Scottish Salmon Watch reported yesterday (24 June 2021) that 'Organic' Sea Harvest's Invertote salmon farm was being choked by a toxic blue-green algal bloom.

In March 2021, Scottish Salmon Watch published photos from 'Organic' Sea Harvest's salmon farm at Culnacnoc.

Scottish Salmon Watch revealed in March 2021 that 'Organic' Sea Harvest had reported disease and mass mortality problems at their Soil Association certified organic salmon farming operations (including 11,671 morts in one week in July/August 2020).

Here's 'Case Information' published by the Scottish Government's Fish Health Inspectorate relating to an inspection of 'Organic' Sea Harvest's Invertote salmon farm in November 2020:

AGD is Amoebic Gill Disease and PGD is Proliferative Gill Disease (read more via "Gill Diseases: Scottish Salmon's Dirty Big Secret" and "Photo Dossier of Diseased, Deformed & Abused Scottish Salmon").   Alphamax is the trade name for the toxic chemical Deltamethrin – shown by peer-reviewed science to be lethal to shellfish and labelled by the chemical manufacturer as a 'Marine Pollutant'.    An article – "The impact of anti-sea lice pesticides, azamethiphos and deltamethrin, on European lobster (Homarus gammarus) larvae in the Norwegian marine environment" – published in scientific journal Environmental Pollution in September 2020 reported:

It beggars belief that salmon doused in toxic chemicals and ridden with infectious diseases can be marketed as 'organic' and certified by the Soil Association

In November 2020, Scottish Salmon Watch revealed that 'Organic' Sea Harvest was owned by investors in the Netherlands, Canada and Norway.

Scottish salmon is a sham, scam and a consumer con.  Please join Skye's Katie Tunn in taking the pledge against farmed salmon!

Last month, Scottish Salmon Watch visited Skye in the hope of finding out more about 'Organic' Sea Harvest.
