Here's a Fish Health Inspectorate report – slipped out by the Scottish Government on 16 January 2023 – relating to an inspection of Loch Duart's RSPCA Assured salmon farm in Loch Carnan in October 2022.  

 

 

Case 2022-0469 includes gruesome photos; details of fish infested with 15 to 50 lice; over 200,000 mortalities; Hydrogen Peroxide treatments; and infectious diseases including Anaemia, Heart & Skeletal Muscle Inflammation (Piscine Reovirus), Amoebic Gill Disease, Complex Gill Diseaseas, Epitheliocystis, Salmon Gill Poxvirus, Paranucelospora theridion, Moritella viscosa and Vibrio:
