This morning I cannot help but sing 'Ironic' by Alanis Morissette.
Yesterday's news that the Scottish salmon farming industry were lobbying to relax (i.e. breach/brake) rules on biomass limits was a breath-taking display of shameless exploitation and sheer hypocrisy in equal measure.
The fact is that salmon farmers such as Mowi and Cooke have been breaching biomass limits even before the Coronavirus crisis hit.

And don't forget that testing by Marine Scotland Science in 2018 and 2019 found Piscine Reovirus in over 50% of farmed salmon tested.
