As the Winter Olympics open in South Korea it's worth remembering events in British Columbia in 2010 – when advocates sought to focus the world's attention on how Norwegian-owned salmon farms were killing off wild salmon.

Wild salmon advocates attempted to hand-deliver a letter to the King of Norway who was in Whistler to watch Norway win a gold medal (pipping Canada on the line):
